« Happiness is not a destination to reach, but a way of traveling. »
Our trips and activities are open to anyone in good physical condition. The activities and routes are selected to be both interesting and “adventurous” while remaining accessible to women, men, and youth. To help you better understand the physical requirements, we indicate the level of physical exertion.
We are flexible regarding arrival times. Just let us know by phone or email when you’ll arrive, and we will pick you up directly from Ivalo Airport. Depending on flight schedules, you may wait for other expedition members.
Sharing such magical moments with your family is a great idea. To ensure safety and comfort during snowmobile rides, we require a minimum height of 1.20 meters for children (regardless of age). For other expeditions, we offer activities for youths from the age of 12.
Depending on the number of available slots on the Munay Experience website, you can make a reservation for multiple people by specifying the number of participants in the reservation form.
Our trips are designed for people of all ages and various levels of physical fitness. If you are in decent physical condition and have no specific medical requirements, this trip is suitable for you. Your mindset and your willingness to explore will be your main driving forces. By following the guide’s instructions, you will quickly gain confidence and move safely in the Arctic environment. However, the level of exertion can vary depending on the specific activity. We have categorized the exertion levels as follows:
Level 1: Peace and Tranquility
An experience that requires no special effort or additional skills. We move in a small group of like-minded travelers. It may include a short walk or simply immersing yourself in cultural activities that improve well-being. The key is to have fun in a friendly atmosphere surrounded by beautiful nature.
Level 2: Explore
This is a mini-adventure with activities that do not require special technical skills. It’s accessible to anyone who regularly engages in sports and can hike for a few hours. Your desire to explore a new activity in the magical Lapland climate will be your most important tool.
Level 3: Trips for Those Who Regularly Engage in Sports
This is a real adventure, halfway between initiation and perfection, involving endurance sports such as long hikes, packrafting, or dog sledding. It’s a challenge and a unique opportunity to test your skills in overcoming the Lapland plateau. However, it can be demanding at times, depending on weather conditions (snow, rain, wind).
We ensure that each trip takes place in harmony with nature, in small groups of a maximum of 8 people. This facilitates communication among participants and creates a friendly atmosphere.
Feel free to contact us directly or via email. We will respond as quickly as possible and find a solution in accordance with the current possibilities.
We have an international approach and speak Polish, French, English, and Spanish. We strive to group participants by language so they can communicate with each other and with the guide.
Our prices cover only the costs of transportation within Lapland. You are responsible for arranging and purchasing your round-trip tickets to Ivalo, Finland. In case of any difficulties, please contact us by phone.
We make sure that your stay takes place in safe and favorable weather conditions. Your guide will monitor the weather conditions and suggest appropriate activities and routes to ensure your enjoyment and the opportunity to admire the beauty of the landscapes from the best vantage point. If, due to weather changes (which is an extremely rare occurrence), it becomes necessary to change the expedition’s schedule, you will be informed in advance. We want you to feel the team spirit and share your experiences with fellow Lapland explorers!
All the necessary sports equipment is provided by the event organizer, and its use is included in the event price.
Prepare for a real adventure in the heart of nature. Bring a camera, as you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture unforgettable moments, including sunrises, moonlight, and, of course, the Northern Lights.
Our top priority is to provide the utmost comfort while preserving authenticity. Each accommodation offers ideal conditions for rest after outdoor activities. You will have the opportunity to warm up and recharge for the next day. Saunas are available at each location.
We kindly ask for a 30% deposit upon booking the stay and the remaining 70% of the amount 14 days before departure.
In winter, for comfort, warmth, and personal hygiene, we recommend bringing comfortable breathable winter sports clothing (insulated jacket, pants, hat, thermal underwear, etc.) as your first layer of clothing. You will also receive a protective winter suit for cold days, ensuring your safety and warmth. Additionally, bring clothing needed for a traditional sauna (slippers, swimwear).
Full equipment list:
In summer, don’t forget sports attire suitable for various weather conditions and swimwear for traditional saunas or swimming. Lapland can experience temperatures of up to 30 degrees Celsius in the summer, but there can also be rainy days with lower temperatures. Prepare for both scenarios to fully enjoy your adventure.

Munay Experience is the result of Kinga’s passion for the Lapland plateau and her adventurous spirit. Kinga is a Polish adventurer, outdoor enthusiast, and certified life coach. She loves mountains and open spaces. After 15 years of working in large international corporations and traveling around the world, Kinga founded Munay Experience. She gradually settled in Ivalo, collaborating with the local community. Today, she is a snowmobile instructor trained for polar conditions. Due to her love for vast landscapes and the outdoors, she organizes her expeditions off the beaten path, far from mass tourism.
Our trips and activities are designed to suit the preferences and pace of everyone. Our priority is to connect with nature and find time to enjoy every moment. Each day offers the opportunity to pause and admire the landscapes, observe flora and fauna, take photos, or immerse yourself in the magic of wild Lapland.
Our life philosophy is to live passionately and find joy in sharing it with like-minded people. Our trips take place off the beaten path and away from mass tourism, allowing us to stay close to nature and the local population. Each trip is unique and tailored to the needs of our guests and the opportunities that nature provides during each stay. Our trips are driven by a passion for the wild, harmony among people, respect for the culture and values of the Sámi people, and awareness of the importance of preserving the local pristine ecosystem.
We organize vacations in summer, autumn, and winter because each season in Lapland offers unique opportunities for exploration and different activities. The choice depends on the season, weather, and the type of activities you prefer.
Winter: We welcome guests from December to mid-April when the best snow conditions prevail, and you can witness the Northern Lights. Rivers and lakes are frozen, providing an excellent surface for snowmobiling and dog sledding. January brings shorter and colder days, creating a nearly cosmic winter landscape. From February, the days lengthen, and temperatures become milder, offering greater overall comfort.
Summer: Summer journeys begin in June when the midnight sun illuminates the landscape until mid-August. In September, the night returns with the “double polar twilight” reflecting in the lakes. It’s also the time to observe the colorful landscapes of Ruska, where reindeer roam, showcasing their magnificent antlers.

We collaborate hand in hand with partners who share the same travel philosophy and a deep respect for the local ecosystem, fauna, and flora. All our partners are local suppliers, mainly Sámi, belonging to the indigenous population. We ensure that our activities have minimal impact on the environment and promote the development of the local economy in a sustainable and responsible manner.
