New Year's Eve in a family atmosphere in the magic of true northern Lapland. Live a dream with your eyes wide open under the northern lights.

In a log cabin, in the middle of a forest of snow-white pines and birches, on the banks of the mythical River of Gold, Ivalojoki, with its meandering paths through wide open spaces, is a dream place to spend the festive season and set off on a winter adventure! It’s also the perfect place to watch the Northern Lights under a sky of a thousand and one stars, far from civilisation and … close to the Summit of the World! This is the chalet for adventurers, groups or families looking to immerse themselves in another universe, listen to the silence but also experience the adventure of a lifetime in complete authenticity and cultural immersion. All this in the intimacy of an unspoilt nature.

At a glance

Day 1: Meeting

Reception at the airport and transfer to our lodge festively decorated for New Year's Eve or Christmas!

Day 2: Discovering nature on arctic skiing

Departure for an arctic ski tour along the mythical golden river, Ivalojoki, in a magical and friendly atmosphere. Frosted trees, majestic landscapes as far as the eye can see and the feeling of “being alone in the world”. In the evening, we will share a special dinner prepared with Lappish specialties and following local traditions! Thereafter, we will have prepared some surprises for you so that this evening remains etched in your minds forever!

Day 3: Visit to a family reindeer farm

Visit of a reindeer farm in the middle of the forest followed by a walk on the surrounding hills with a breathtaking view of the frozen lakes. Return to our chalet for a traditional meal around a fire followed by a Finnish sauna.

Day 4: Visit of Inari in full cultural immersion

In the morning, departure for Inari, the capital city of the Saami with a visit to their museum (their great pride!)

Day 5: Quiet day or... activity!

It is the day of rest with the possibility of walking around the river or going with snowshoes in complete freedom or simply resting in front of the wild nature. In the evening we will do a fire workshop flavored by the preparation of smoked salmon

Day 6: Sled dogs in nature immersion

A meeting with our musher and his beloved sled dogs for an unusual experience through the forests of Northern Lapland

Day 7: Snowmobiling in the wilderness and reindeer

We leave by snowmobile to gain height under the golden light of the sunset in total immersion in the boreal forest and hoping to meet reindeer. . In the evening a meal at the end of the adventure.

Day 8: Departure

Farewell breakfast and airport transfer by the Munay team

Effort Level 3: Push Yourself
This is a true adventure, a blend of initiation and improvement, where you engage in endurance sports such as hiking, packrafting, or dog sledding for several days. It is a challenge and a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the pristine nature of the vast Lapland wilderness. However, it can be demanding at times due to weather conditions (snow, rain, winds)
